This retreat will be an opportunity to explore the relationship between our innate wisdom nature and its expression through communication and the creative process. Form and emptiness are two dimensions of our reality that are in constant play. The appearances of our life arise moment to moment as a display of emptiness into form. When we participate in this process with openness and awareness we come alive to our natural creative nature and can express it through all that we do in our life.

The deity Manjushri is a special practice that enables us to rest in the depth of our innate wisdom and then enhance and refine our capacity to manifest this in communication and creative expression. Manjushri is an aspect of the Bodhisattva intention to manifest and communicate wisdom into the world for the welfare of others. If we find ourselves blocked and unable to truly express our inner life in a way that is satisfying and meaningful, Manjushri can open that doorway and liberate our creative nature. He is the deity of creative expression bringing together the elements of visionary fire and embodied earth helping us unite these two dimensions of our nature.

This retreat will bring together the practices of Manjushri, mahamudra and movement to explore our inner relationship to the nature of mind and its play of expression. The combination of these three practices helps awaken our natural wisdom and liberate the energy to manifest our creative potential in our life.
